Wasted experience

      Magicians are not an exception. It happens that magic actions performed by them successfully don’t strengthen their might somehow.
     The experience turns out to be wasted thanks to such factors as the desire of an individual to go through that. Therefore, even an apparent experience may often prove to be illusive i.e. wasted. The consciousness plays such a trick on a magician, who deludes himself creating a certain picture and projecting it on the reality. Later the consciousness starts interacting with this fictitious projection. And often people, who have gained such an experience, do realize that it is wasted.
    In sober fact it develops that such «shadow players» as Archons and Mind Parasites are the most interested parties in such a situation getting their catch by investing the power into the illusion (as for Archons) and through the inanity of the said investment (as for Parasites).

     Hence it appears that the experience is a destructor despite its seeming significance and importance of gaining that.

     Only when estimating every experience a magician has had by its result (an impact on the general level of consciousness and its Power), it is possible to get to know if the experience has been wasted or not. And only in case the Power gain is apparent it will be possible to declare the importance and great value of the experience as well as the actual perception and achievement.
    Sharp swings of the consciousness level are not indicative of the enlightenment. They are not always an indispensable condition of the consciousness expansion as well. Western practices hold a brief for that. They state that the gradual ascension (similar to the rise along the Tree of Sephiroth or to Dante’s journey through heavenly realms) is more tolerable for most people. The lack of heavenly experience is not a sign of incorrect or sluggish progress but is indicative of peculiar qualities of the personal Way.
     Lots of people have got disappointed and left this way in wait for «effects» still absent, whereas others have been lost all along of the gained experience being desired and illusive at that.
     It has had a mention before a great many times that a magician is a warrior walking along his own way – the Way of Power! There are no other ways for him not because of their absence or a certain advantage of this one but for the reason that the existence of a magician off the Way is senseless. The Western myth has it that only a person, who is bound to be a magician, shall practice Magic. As for such people, Magic is the only Way but not just a transient or the best one.
