Gaining of magic power from elements

     Your best bet is to perform this rite being alone with nature. If that is not possible, make sure that symbols of all elements will be positioned in front of you at the start of the performance. The Fire element may be represented by a burning candle, the Water – by a glass of spring water, the Earth – by a handful of soil collected in a fairly infrequent place (in the field or forest) or by a container with salt and the Air – by incense sticks.
 
    A regular pentagram shall be drawn on the ground or floor at the very beginning of the rite. Ideally, four arms of this star have to meet cardinal directions. In this case it is taken that the fifth arm is directed to the Ether. Then you shall sit in the pentagram’s center in such a way that its lines are not crossed and the fifth arm is faced. And only after that you can proceed with the very rite.
 
   Breathe freely and deeply with your respiration being abdominal but not costal as usual since in this case the body’s energy channels (chakras) open up. Listen attentively to ambient sounds. Nothing shall worry you. Stay entirely focused on Energies that surround you. Imagine a blue thread that runs towards you from the Water symbol side and gives you its power. Ask it for this power and give reasons for that. Focus upon the thread, which connects you with the said element, and feel you body filling with power. From now on you and this element are tied forever. In a few minutes, turn your mind’s eye to the Earth element and imagine a brown thread running towards you from this element’s symbol. Repeat your request to grant you the Earth’s power. Then ask for other elements’ power as well at an easy pace. The power of the Air…The power of the Fire…Imagine how the power of these elements fills you. Bind all threads together to make a single thread and let it inside you. This united thread of magic power gained from elements will do you good night and day.
 
     When you are through this stage entirely, you’ll feel the wondrous body lightness. Unbound all threads piece by piece in the reverse order starting from the Fire’s power. Continue with the Air’s power, then pass to the Earth power and finally - the Water’s power. Don’t forget to thank every element for its help.
 
   When the rite is finished, it would be advantageous for you to sit for some time with your eyes open to sense objects, feel smells and hear sounds of the real world again.
